ADA signs/ Braille signs
ADA and Braille signs are required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to ensure accessibility and safety in public, commercial, residential, and institutional buildings. These signs feature raised tactile lettering and Grade 2 Braille so that individuals with visual impairments can independently identify rooms, exits, stairwells, elevators, restrooms, and other important areas. ADA-compliant signage improves wayfinding, enhances inclusivity, and helps property owners meet federal and local building code requirements.
Braille signs come in a variety of finishes and colors, including metal, brushed silver, black background, photoluminescent (glow-in-the-dark), and high-contrast durable materials. They are required for permanent rooms and spaces, as well as for accessible routes throughout a building. By installing ADA and Braille signs, property owners not only comply with legal mandates but also create safer, more welcoming environments for all occupants and visitors.
